EDIE FAKE & SAM LOPES
DEEP HOUSE HELL
6 April — 30 April 2008
Described by the artists as a “bright, hectic parlour scene—part campy, part scary, part surprise!” Edie Fake and Sam Lopes wipe the soot and grime off the Gothic genre and add a pastel, candy colored, springtime ambiance to the classic horror story scenario. Think Fall of the House of Usher meets Pee Wee's Playhouse; imagine scary gone ridiculous.
